Job Summary
Student Callers are representatives of the Bethel University student body and the university as a whole.  Callers will interact and engage prospective students to promote Bethel University.  They provide information and insight about the university through phone calls, emails, and texts. The Student Caller position lasts one full school year (Fall and Spring terms).

Currently hiring for students that have availability Monday – Thursday 5:00pm – 7:00pm.
Essential Job Functions

  • Phone Calls
    • Purposeful contact via phone with prospective students regarding Bethel University and various recruitment activities (college fairs, visit days, priority dates, etc…).
    • Phone calls on weekday evenings.
  • Assist with Admission Events
    • Occasional evening activities
    • Help with prep and setup, float and help with various event tasks
  • Assist with Clerical Tasks
    • Utilize the computer database (JX) in making and recording contacts.

      • Must be flexible with job responsibilities during scheduled shift.
      • Ability to multi task and handle other tasks as assigned.
    • Knowledgeable
      • Have a basic knowledge of Bethel University.
      • Completed a minimum of 2 semesters at Bethel University
      • Earned and continue to maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5.

Job Expectations

  • Required call hours vary from 4 to 8 hours a week
  • Ability to be flexible and prioritize call hours
  • Check email and text messages from supervisor regarding new call target
  • Help recommend and train future student callers

Hour Rate – $7.25 with pay raise incentives
