Job Summary:

The Institutional Advancement Office Worker will assist the Coordinator of Advancement Services in various elements of their duties including mail merges, special events and office organization.  It will be a position that crosses over into all Advancement areas and requires multi-functional skills.  Student will work up to 10 hours per week, depending on workload for the specific week.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform mail merges for fundraising and event letters or invitations
  • Requesting quotes for special projects
  • Scanning and archiving documents
  • Updating information for database
  • Researching and coordinating attendance at community events
  • Assisting where necessary for IA and Alumni events

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to represent the advancement department professionally
  • Must be capable of working with sensitive information with complete confidentiality
  • Must be flexible with work schedule
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to organize, implement and evaluate programs
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple ongoing tasks
  • Ability to be creative, innovative, resourceful, and adaptive to change
  • Computer literate and have knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Responsible for all other duties as assigned by the Vice President for Institutional Advancement
