Job Summary:
The conference services office is seeking a detailed, task-oriented individual to assist in the daily operations of the conference services office. (Work hours will vary and are dependent on event needs. Office hours and event hours needed.  
Essential Job Functions:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining electronic files
  • Answering phones and greeting guests
  • Assisting with sending and receiving correspondence (mail, email, fax)
  • Entering detailed information into files for events
  • Communicating details for  internal Bethel events and external events with staff and people in the community.
  • Helping with special events
  • Assisting with other duties as assigned


  • Strong organizational skills
  • Gpa 3.0 or higher
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to multitask

Job Expectations:

  • Required participation in training
  • Minimum 10 working hours per week
  • Flexible hours from 8am – 10pm dependent on student’s academic/athletic schedule
  • Check email/text messages regularly for communications from supervisor
  • Help recommend and train future student assistants
