Campus Store Student Worker Job Description

Job Summary: 
Assist the Campus Store Managers in assigned tasks to maintain the store’s professional appearance and provide excellent customer service during the shopping and checkout experience.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide great customer service
  • Operate the Cash Register
  • Stock and straighten shelves
  • Assist managers in unpacking, inspecting, and tagging new merchandise
  • Assist managers in fulfilling online orders
  • General cleaning tasks (dusting, wiping down counters, vacuuming)
  • Able to lift up to 35lb
  • Other general tasks assigned by the Campus Store Managers

Qualifications:

  • Must be neat, courteous and trustworthy
  • Able to handle money and make correct change
  • Computer Literate
  • Organized

Job Expectations:

  • Required hours of work would fall between the hours of 10am – 4pm Monday – Friday. Students must also be willing to work some Saturdays throughout each semester 12-4pm.
  • Students are expected to show up to their scheduled shifts on time and must get coverage when calling off for a scheduled shift.
