Job Summary:
Provide overall assistance to Bookstore Manager including assisting customers, operating cash register, stock and straighten shelves and unpacking new merchandise when received. Keep the online merchandise correct and up to date. Update social media accounts.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide great customer service
- Wait on customers, stock shelves, merchandise the store
- Update website and social media
- Must be neat, courteous and trustworthy
- Able to handle money and make correct change
- Able to lift 35lb boxes and books.
Qualifications:
- Cash register experience and general clerking experience
- Graphic Arts experience
- Computer Literate
- Organized
Job Expectations:
- Required hours of work would fall between the hours of 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. Saturday 12 – 4.
- A few times during the year, student may be asked to work on Saturday to help with special events on campus.
